Project & Portfolio 3 Blandini

For this project, I was given multi-track audio files of a live show performed by the band, Blandini. There was also a video file with it. The requirement was to mix the multi-tracks using ProTools. I mixed the tracks adding time-based effects to the vocals and instruments. The effects used where D-Verb and Mod Delay. For the delay, I used automation to bring it in at specifics points during the song. I added EQ’s to the vocals and instruments. I also used Volume Automation during the guitar solo parts of the song to bring it to the front more. Once I completed the audio mix, I added the new mixed audio to the video and removed the original audio from the video.

For the video, I used Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop to create the graphics and edit the video.  I added a graphic open with titles at the beginning of the video. I use a section of the guitar solo as an underlay for that. I blended it together with the song. I added a lower title with the band logo that I managed to find on Facebook. I also added a LIVE text along with the Full Sail University logo at the top upper left corner. I also added a lower third title with the lead singers name. I wasn’t able to find out the information of the other band members. Finally I added a few light leaks to the song to add some creation movement and color to certain parts of the song like during the guitar solos.
